Audit Accountant Full Time

Our client is a well-respected accountancy and business advisory firm with two offices located in Lincolnshire.  They continue to remain a market leader and believe this is achieved through their people 

Due to business growth, they are looking for a Client Manager. The Client Manager is the point of reference for all internal workflow queries pertinent to a particular client and the first point of reference for day-to-day client queries through: –

• Direct client queries.
• Queries from other professionals.
• Queries from clients via other team members.

The role will require you to take ownership of client deadlines to ensure they are met, delivering to the highest standards of professionalism and compliance. 

Based at their Lincoln office with some remote working possible you will find yourself responsible for:

• Being the first point of reference for all internal workflow queries pertinent to clients within your portfolio and those of other client managers where they are absent from the office;
• Preparing accounts and tax returns;
• Reviewing VAT returns;
• Preparing files to allow brief Director review of pertinent points;
• Tax planning;
• Completion and review of form P11d;
• Working with your fellow managers to review the workflow systems and advise the board;
• Produce forecasts and budgets to assist clients in their business and financial planning;
• To be available to the clients within your portfolio as their first point of reference whether this be assisting with their queries or those from other professionals in relation to the client;

Profile:

• Qualified Chartered or Certified accountant or QBE

• Excel and Word skills to an intermediate level, e.g., hook-ups and pivot tables;

• Accounting experience;
• Experience of dealing with difficult client issues;
• Experience of organising and prioritising workload;
• Experience of involvement in meetings;
• Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure;
• Time management;
• Accuracy;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong accounting experience;
• Tax knowledge;
• Undertaking or performing other duties as required;
• Ability to lead successful meetings with clients; and
• Strong knowledge of Xero/cloud technology.
